Taste and See That the Lord Is Good!

You know those things that you want but don't really need? I know you have some! I know you want some! I ALWAYS do! One of those items for me was an fondant roller. You use it to roll the marshmallow icing so its nice and smooth and even to top some BEAUTIFUL cookies! A regular rolling pin works but its not as good as a fondant roller. 
 I was REALLY wishing for one while rolling my third batch of icing for this Starbucks cup order (will post about this in the near future.) My mom was helping with the boys and I said "Mom, maybe I should just break down and spend the 15 dollars on a roller." My mom gave the same answer she says about everything: "Pray about it." (Trotter daughters, how many times have we heard this!? ) A few minutes later a friend came by needing help on getting ready for her daughters baby shower. My mom showed her my blog, she saw some baby shower cookies and immediately ordered 15 cookies for 15 dollars for that night!  I put a pause on my Starbucks order and started on the baby cookies.We were having a discussion about the odd number of cookies when mom asked,  "how much did you need for that roller?" The shock -- the surprise --it dawned on me...GOD PROVIDED exactly what I needed to get something I don't really need, but REALLY want! The Lord truly is good! My friend Melissa and I went to buy one that night and my cookies are smooth, beautiful and even!
