My First Adventures in Cookie Baking

Before Thanksgiving in 2010 my friend Katrina, who is an EXCELLENT cake baker told me she would come over to make some REALLY pretty cookies for Christmas. Excited, I couldn’t wait so I made some cookies on my own first. Here they are before, my first attempt at decorating.

I used Royal icing, I thought this was the only kind of icing to use for decorating cookies. I have learned a lot since these cookies, but I still think this is one of my favorite Christmas sets.
